5* EDGE Keon Keeley (FL)

A current Notre Dame commitment, Michigan football has remained a factor for the five-star talent recently, and now figures to be an even bigger threat after hiring former ND defensive line coach Mike Elston to the same position with the Wolverines.

Ranked as the fourth overall player in the 2023 class according to On3, Keeley could be a dominant pass rusher for the Wolverines, much like Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo both were this past season.

This battle will be especially interesting after Notre Dame recently hired former Michigan and Ohio State assistant Al Washington to become their new defensive line coach, replacing Mike Elston, who left for Michigan.

Additionally, the Wolverines recently sent out a preferred walk-on offer to Keeley’s 2022 teammate, Tre Reader, which could help Michigan if Reader takes them up on their offer.
