An update on Michigan Basketball players in the NBA
Duncan Robinson
Unfortunately, Duncan Robinson has regressed this season for the Miami Heat, as he is only averaging 11.4 ppg, when he averaged over 16 ppg two years ago, and over 15 ppg last season. His 3-point shooting percentage is majorly down, as are all the rest of his stats.
After signing that massive contract extension during the offseason, it really sucks that Duncan is struggling so much. But every player goes through slumps, especially players that take as many shots as Duncan does every season. There are bound to be slumps and bumpy roads.
In my opinion, Duncan is still worth the 5-year, $90 million contract just because there are so few true sharpshooters in the league, and one bad season doesn’t define an elite 3-point shooter.
I expect Duncan to eventually steady himself and get back to his old ways. he’s too good of a shooter not to.
