An update on Michigan Basketball players in the NBA
Tim Hardaway Jr.
Although Tim Hardaway Jr’s scoring has dipped slightly (14.5 ppg, down from 16.6 ppg), he has still been available (playing in 38 games this season as of this being written) and has still been a good complimentary piece on the Mavs. He and Trey Burke are teammates.
There’s not really much more to say here except THJ has been Mr. Reliable for awhile now, not ever playing like a superstar, but being that constant veteran presence that is steady and knows his role. He can get hot at times, but more often than not, is just a good, consistent player.
We’ll see how much longer he stays in Dallas because whenever the Mavs want to trade for another player, THJ’s name is always floated around as trade bait, among other prospects and draft picks.
He could stay around Dallas past this year, next year, and into the future, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he eventually leaves himself or he is traded in the future. That’s just how the NBA works.
