Elijah Robinson (Texas A&M)

Robinson is the vaunted ace recruiter of the Texas A&M Aggies, who recently pulled in the top overall class according to 247Sports’ Composite team rankings.

And to Robinson’s credit, much of the firepower of that class comes along the defensive line, where he landed former Michigan target Walter Nolen, five-star defensive lineman Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, top-50 edge rushers Enai White and Anthony Lucas, and another top-100 defensive lineman in Malick Sylla for good measure.

And not only is his recruiting elite, but he has also shown a lot of good development of current players, helping turn DL DeMarvin Leal into a well-regarded NFL prospect this offseason.

Hailing from Camden, New Jersey, Robinson has extensive ties in the northeast and is a Penn State graduate himself. The Nittany Lions have reportedly tried to land Robinson on multiple occasions in the past, but have so far been unsuccessful. While it seems unlikely Michigan football is the team to do it, Robinson did recently begin following Jim Harbaugh, Ryan Osborn, and Michigan Football on Twitter.

Given that Robinson already makes a hefty salary with the Aggies, it would likely take a massive offer for Michigan to pry him away.
