3. How much will the crowd affect Michigan State

Playing in Crisler is not too easy, just ask almost every Big Ten team in the country. But, with COVID-19 resurging and Michigan Basketball not being good, the attendance may be low. There is currently a maize-out campaign going on for the game, so if you are attending I suggest wearing maize.

Michigan’s going to need all the support they can get, so the fans and students are going to need to blow the roof off Crisler with enthusiasm unknown to mankind as Jim Harbaugh would say. While I am sure Izzo is getting his team prepared for going into Crisler and dealing with the noise, it’s a different atmosphere when you’re really there.

There is a lot of experience on Michigan State, so they understand how big this rivalry is even if they’re not from Michigan.

I say that because I am worried that too many of our guys just do not understand what it means to beat Michigan State in basketball. I know some of the older guys like Brooks and to an extent, Dickinson understand what it means.

Hopefully, Michigan can come out with a win, but I would try and not get your hopes up about the outcome. While that may sound doom and gloom, I think it’ll be a good game regardless as it usually is.
