Recap and Concerns

This offense is gearing up to potentially be the best ever assembled at the University of Michigan. There is so much talent as well as speed and explosiveness from these players. Keep in mind, a lot of these guys are younger talent as well so we’ll be hearing their names for more than just one year.

With the addition of Ronnie Bell returning from his injury, he adds a true playmaker on the outside that is amongst the elites of the Big Ten. He’s a reliable target that is a seasoned veteran at the position. With the development of players this season as well as the offseason, there will be a more reliable passing attack, especially if McCarthy is under the helm.

The only possible concern that Michigan football has right now is obviously injury but most importantly transfers. I think there is a good chance we see maybe one or two wide receivers transfer out this season because of the sheer volume of wideouts on the roster. While I think there is a better chance Michigan retains them all, there is always the possibility for that.

With Cade not earning the starting job, I believe that he will transfer out of Michigan though. That’ll leave someone like Dan Villari or incoming QB Alex Orji as the backup. It’s unclear what’s going to happen however but I do believe whoever does not start this season between Cade and JJ will indeed transfer.

With all that being said, these are good problems to have and there is a lot of potential going into 2022 for this offense. Strap up and get ready folks because team 143 is going to be an offensive juggernaut.
