2. Aidan Hutchinson’s performance hurt his draft stock

This is an overreaction as Hutchinson is still going to go in the top five, if not number one overall, of the NFL Draft in April. The Heisman runner-up was called for offsides in the second quarter and the very next play he made up for it by getting a tackle for loss on Brock Bowers. He also was able to get the Georgia tackles called for holding and even jump early before the snap, but no penalties were called on that.

Hutchinson did everything that one could have asked for in a maize and blue uniform. He led a charge to restore the program to a level that hasn’t been reached in this modern era. His work ethic and attitude will now take him to the NFL to do the same with a future that is burning ever so brightly.

It wasn’t a Hutchinson-like showing that Michigan football fans have been prone to because the Bulldogs knew how to keep him out of the offensive backfield.

It’s certainly not the way that he wanted to end his Michigan career, but Hutchinson will still depart from Michigan as arguably the greatest defensive end in program history which says a lot about him.
