2. Don’t commit unforced errors

Michigan can’t shoot itself in the foot.

That is arguably the most overused “key” to victory you will read in any game preview. Not just regarding this game.

The reason I and other members of the media will write this as a “key to victory” is because it’s the biggest.

In fact, arguably in any game sans Ohio State, it might be the most important key.

As we said at the outset, Georgia and Michigan are similar programs. From coach personalities to the way they’ve built their teams, to how they scheme up their offense and defense. It’s like looking in a mirror.

To beat Georgia, you can’t turn the ball over and give them more possessions.

The Bulldogs are methodical. They can and will run the ball effectively similar to how the Wolverines will on the other side of the ball.

That doesn’t mean you need to play it safe and call a conservative game plan. What it does mean is that Cade McNamara needs to continue to play the same efficient football that he has all year.

Don’t put the ball in harm’s way when you do have it. Don’t draw up plays for guys who have had issues securing the ball.

Be smart, be efficient, don’t turn the ball over.
