1. Punch Georgia in the mouth from the opening kick

Mike Tyson once famously said, “everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth”.

The same is true in this game.

Michigan needs to come out from jump street with a big play whether through the air or on the ground. And to be honest, there are plenty of weapons on this offense to do it on that side of the ball.

Between the trick plays we saw in the Big Ten title game, the use of J.J. McCarthy as a changeup to Cade McNamara’s fastball, the speed at skill positions with guys like AJ Henning, Andrel Anthony, and Donovan Edwards… the list goes on and on and on. Use those guys in unique ways and get on the board early.

On the flip side of the ball, don’t sit back on your heels and let the Bulldogs matriculate the ball down the field. Pop Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett in the backfield. Draw up some exotic blitzes to confuse the Bulldog offensive line.

I’ll stop fantasizing and make my point clear.

Punch Georgia in the mouth and get them reeling.

Put the same doubt into those Bulldogs that was evident when Alabama was rolling them in the SEC championship game.

Do those things and Michigan not only wins this game but wins it going away.
