3. Incorporating younger talent into the gameplan

Juwan Howard has been around these kids every day for nearly a year, so I will not act like I know what’s best for the program or who should be starting but I do want to note that I have liked what I’ve seen from the younger guys that dont get in as often as I think they should.

Kobe Bufkin and Frankie Collins have been some aboslute dogs for the Wolverines when they’re on the floor. They are each true bucket getters and gritty young talents who were highly regarded recruits coming into the season but have seen limited action due to the true talent depth that Michigan has.

However, when they’ve gotten action they have made it count every single time and truly look like the future of Michigan Basketball.

Kobe, who was a McDonalds All American coming into the season has been on the floor only a handfull of times. He got 18 minutes against Southern Utah and looked like a beast shooting 4-9 and getting three boards.

Frankie is a player who has played a decent amount bit but personally not enough. Michigan’s offense looks more dynamic and flows better from what I have seen.

While he’s seen limited action I think he’s going to have a bigger role moving forward this season barring any unforseen issues and he will see a bigger role as the season goes along.
