Team MVP

This one was a no-brainer this time around, Hunter Dickinson captures his second MVP of this season.

The sophomore center recorded three double-doubles and averaged an outstanding 18.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, and one block per game.

Those are the type of numbers Juwan Howard and his staff expected Dickinson to put up this season, and after an uncharacteristically slow start to the season, he looks to be hitting his stride.

Dickinson’s return to consistent All-American level play is paramount to Michigan basketball’s success as conference play continues to draw closer.

Without a consistent playmaker off the dribble, the Wolverines need Dickinson to be a dominant inside force to help give shooters space to effectively shoot from deep.

Going into their game against Southern Utah, the Wolverines shot 41% from three in their six wins, and only 19% from three in their four losses.

Dickinson’s presence down low is a massive key to keeping pressure off of Caleb Houstan, Eli Brooks, and others.
