4-star DE/DL Derrick Moore — Prediction: Michigan

One recruit that Michigan football has gained a ton of traction with late in the process is Derrick Moore, a top 100 defensive lineman who was committed to Oklahoma.

Moore is 6-foot-4, 250 pounds, and could either be an edge rusher or even a defensive tackle in the Mike Morris mold just depending on his development. While there could be issues with Michigan signing more due to his former high school coach on staff, experts from 247 sports, Rivals, and On3.com are projecting him to Michigan, so that doesn’t seem like an issue.

And landing a top-100 defender on Early Signing Day will be huge for the Wolverines. Moore will announce his decision at 2:45 PM ET.

4-star DB Keon Sabb — Prediction: Michigan

The Wolverines have had multiple flirtations with Keon Sabb throughout the 2022 recruiting class but he chose Clemson. Yet, despite the Tigers no-visit policy for committed recruits, Sabb made it to Ann Arbor for the Ohio State game and soon re-opened his recruitment after.

Keon Sabb has a 95 percent chance of landing with Michigan football according to On3.com’s prediction machine and his crystal ball projection is trending that way too.

Sabb is an elite defensive back capable of playing multiple spots on the backend of the defense and with Sabb, Zeke Berry, Will Johnson, Myles Pollard, Kody Jones, and Damani Dent in the secondary, the 2022 haul is rather impressive.

Sabb will announce at 10 AM ET.
