Prior to the 2021 season, we didn’t know what Michigan football’s 2022 recruiting class was going to look like, but now as Early Signing Day approaches, things are looking really good.

Michigan football currently has 20 commitments in the 2022 class and is ranked ninth overall according to the 247 sports team rankings.

That number is obviously going to change and not every development will be positive such as Kevonte Henry pushing back his signing until the late period.

He didn’t necessarily decommit, but it’s a reason to question whether he will be part of the Wolverines 2022 recruiting class or not?

As we detailed a couple of days ago, Michigan has started to trend with some key prospects and we also broke down the entire class as well as what to expect on Early Signing Day.

Now, here are our final commitment predictions before the fireworks get started on Wednesday.

4-star WR Darrius Clemons — Prediction: Michigan

There are a total of six Michigan football targets that could be announcing their decisions on Wednesday and one of them is four-star wideout Darrius Clemons.

Clemons will be announcing at 3:00 PM ET and while Oregon and Auburn are both in the mix and have each had crystal ball projections in their favor at one point, Michigan owns 71 percent of the projections now for the 6-foot-2 wideout who runs the 40 in 4.37.

And after missing on Xavier Worthy a year ago, it would be great to add Clemons, who along with Tyler Morris would give Michigan football two elite pass catchers in its 2022 class.
