3. Josh Gattis called a sensational game

Michigan’s big-play ability was on full display on Saturday in primetime. Josh Gattis has been knocked for his predictable, boring play-calling in the past, but not in the title tilt. He put his players in a position to gain large chunks of yardage on any given play. He has been reading defenses on a different level these last few weeks and it shows.

Some of the credit has to got go to the offensive line as well. They have been opening consistent holes for the running backs to run through and keep the quarterbacks clean and upright. Sherrone Moore can be attributed with the growth also. He’s done as good as a job as about everyone else has on this revamped staff.

Gattis has a tough task ahead of him with Georgia’s defense looming in the playoff though. He’ll have to remain creative to keep Georgia guessing because this is the top defense that they have played all year.

Gattis and his offensive core will have its work cut out for them, but that is what is expected this deep in the year if they want to bring home the ultimate prize in the sport on January 10th, 2022.
