Jim Harbaugh is elite

Michigan football fans thought they were getting an elite head coach when Jim Harbaugh was hired and it turns out, they were right.

It was a long, winding road. Harbaugh and the program went through trials and tribulations. He lost who he was for a bit. The jackhammer was turned off.

But it got revved up again.

Harbaugh loves to prove people wrong and he was determined to prove he was an elite coach after last season’s 2-4 record and his 0-5 mark against OSU.

He overhauled his staff and made a number of excellent hires, none better than bringing in Mike Macdonald to fix the defense. Oh, and Josh Gattis was a good move too.

Michigan fans wanted the real Jim Harbaugh to return and in 2021, he did. Harbaugh got his swagger back and Michigan is back to playing his brand of football.
