The rotation makes no sense

Michigan has a lot of moving pieces, so you can understand Juwan Howard mixing and matching, but the Wolverines are six games in and there is no hint of a regular rotation.

One night Kobe Bufkin is the first guard off the bench and two games later, he doesn’t play a single minute. Frankie Collins was the first guard off the bench due to Jones getting into foul trouble and he was really solid in 15 minutes.

The freshman point guard scored six points, dished out four assists, and had just one turnover. He got the basket and made the right plays. Then he didn’t play again.

It was curious. Collins has been solid defensively and with the way Jones has played, trying to speed up his development seems like the right thing to do.

Also, why Juwan keeps playing Adrien Nunez is beyond me. He offers nothing when he can’t make shots and any playing time he gets is just taking away valuable time from Bufkin and others.

Michigan has two games before conference play starts and Juwan needs to get some things hammered out quick in terms of the roles and rotation on this team.
