Andel Anthony is a star in the making

Andrel Anthony’s potential and talent cannot be described in words. He’s been making the most of his chance to play and he’s delivered way past everyone’s expectations.

He made this absolutely ridiculous catch against Maryland which left me completely speechless. The concentration and skill to make a catch like that are beyond me.

What’s crazy is this was not the only one-handed catch of the game, but we’ll talk about that in just a second.

On nine receptions this season he has 202 yards and 2 touchdowns. I hope that Josh Gattis gives Andrel more of a role on the offense against the Buckeyes and next season.

Mike Sainristil’s better one-handed catch for 13 yard TD

When I say I jumped out of my seat when I saw this catch would be an under exaggeration. The ball placement and the catch by two young and rising stars Mike Sainristil and JJ McCarthy is a great sight to see.

This is the type of catch you see the next morning on ESPN’s Sports Center top 10 plays of the week it was that mind-boggling. Though the pass looks overthrown, JJ had to place that ball where only Sainristil could make a play and boy did he make a play.

You’re not going to see catches that get much better than an off-shoulder one-handed fully extended grab for a touchdown.
