3. Michigan football better be ready for an all-out onslaught next week

The de facto Big Ten championship tilt will take place on Thanksgiving weekend like it always should be.

With all due respect to whoever wins the West though, either Michigan or Ohio State will be expected by many to be victorious in Indy in two weeks and earn its way into the College Football Playoff.

Ohio State is going to bring ammunition that Michigan has not seen this season. The Buckeyes offense is virtually unbeatable because they score so many points, so fast.

Pressuring C.J. Stroud with David Ojabo and Aidan Hutchinson, along with a lot of help from the secondary is basically the only way that the defense has a chance to keep them in check.

For Michigan to beat Ohio State for the first time in a decade, the Wolverines will need to play their best game of the season and hope for a lot of breaks.

Next. Gut reactions, highlights from Maryland win. dark

Otherwise, it is going to be the same routine that it has been for almost 20 years now. Jim Harbaugh and his underdog team will simply have to do whatever it takes to dethrone the Buckeyes and exercise their demons of so many years past.
