2. This is a Home Game for Michigan

Despite playing on the road in College Park, Maryland, this is basically a home game for the Michigan Wolverines.

During the Jim Harbaugh era (2015-present) not only has Maryland Stadium been consistently overrun with Michigan fans, but it hasn’t reached 75% capacity once during that span.

Any home-field advantage that a typical road team might offer doesn’t apply to Maryland.

This only makes things easier for a team looking to build confidence down the stretch. Quarterback Cade McNamara won’t have any issue communicating with his offensive line because of typical road noise from the home fans.

Additionally, the Wolverine defense won’t struggle to adjust to tempo or make substitutions in the face of a raucous crowd.
