Michigan Football: 3 Predictions for Wolverines against Maryland
Haskins gets 100 again
Hassan Haskins has been running the ball like a man possessed. The man wants to win and you can see it in his play.
Maryland might be better against the run than the pass, but the Wolverines have the second-best rush offense in the Big Ten and even against good defenses, Haskins has found room.
With Corum sidelined, he’s going to get plenty of carries and most of his yards come after making contact. Defenses get tired of tackling Haskins and Maryland will too. He will reach 100 yards against the Terps and find the end zone at least once.
Michigan football vs Maryland score prediction
According to WynnBet’s Week 12 college football odds, Michigan football is a 15-point favorite against Maryland with a plus-minus of 58 points.
So far this season, Michigan is 8-2 against the spread and the Wolverines have gone 3-1 on the road. This does feel like a high-scoring game to me and a breakout performance of sorts for the offense.
I don’t see Michigan having the red-zone issues that have plagued the Wolverines in other games and while they won’t be perfect, I’m predicting a big day for the offense with around 450 total yards and 38 points.
Maryland will get some things going too but the defense will get some stops in the red area. It will also force some turnovers and do enough to get the win.
Final score: Michigan 38, Maryland 20
