2. Rubber Meets The Road In The Paint

Hunter Dickinson is one of the more experienced players on this team and he’s only a Sophomore. But ahead of him dawns some of the toughest big men in the big east in Ike Obiagu and Tyrese Samuel.

Obiagu is a 7-foot-2 center and will be starting the game on Dickinson most likely. He comes in averaging four blocks per game.

Samuel with also be a factor inside. The 6’10 Junior from Montreal is scared of absolutely nobody in the paint. In just 2 games of very limited minutes, he’s averaging 13 points, 6 boards, and 2 assists shooting about 47% from the field.

Compared to Dickinson’s mind-boggling 19, 8, and 1.5 per game shooting 64% from the field you may think Michigan has a clear advantage. But we saw that Dickinson struggled a little in the paint on offense against some of those big men on Prairie View A&M.

All in all, I think Hunter Dickinson is up to the challenge. Dickinson has that swagger and charisma that can lead the Wolverines past Seton Hall single-handedly, but thankfully he’s got some weapons
