Impact

The Buffalo win could actually be a decent non-conference notch in the belt for Michigan basketball, and they gave the Maize and Blue a real challenge in the second half.

However, if the Wolverines weren’t struggling so mightily from the free-throw line, they would have covered easily and that is significant.

Not much can be taken away from the Prairie View game, honestly.

The Wolverines kind of sleepwalked through that one but they got a 20+ point win and did what good teams do to inferior opponents.

The schedule will heat up a bit this week as Michigan takes on Seton Hall on Tuesday in Ann Arbor, and then UNLV in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The two teams are rated 35th and 129th, respectively, at KenPom.com at this early juncture of the season.

Be sure to check back here next Monday where we will hopefully recap another undefeated week for the Michigan Wolverines.
