Haskins burdened the load again without Corum

No Blake Corum, no problem for Hassan Haskins and his offensive teammates. He did it all for the offense today by carrying the rock a career-high 31 times and he didn’t blink. The Penn State defense knew what Michigan football was going to hit them with and Haskins would not be denied for the second consecutive outing.

Haskins tallied 156 yards on the ground, while also adding a critical five grabs for 45 yards that were just as important. He caught the most passes from McNamara on the afternoon to boot. You can’t ask for much more from one of the captains who is leaving everything that he has in his being on the field game in and game out.

As far as Corum is concerned, Molly McGrath reported before the kickoff that he would miss next week at Maryland with a high ankle sprain as well. That is yet to be seen, but Michigan should be fine with Haskins and a healthy Donovan Edwards returning to the lineup, even though he didn’t make an impact on today’s win.
