Penn State will hit some big plays

Jahan Dotson is one of the best receivers in the Big Ten and he torched Maryland last week to the tune of 11 receptions for 242 yards and three touchdowns.

It wasn’t an anomaly though. Dotson averages over 100 yards per game and has back-to-back games with 11 receptions after matching that number against Ohio State for 127 yards.

Dotson isn’t big or imposing, he just makes plays and my guess is that he will make a couple of big catches on Saturday.

The Wolverines have done a pretty good job of avoiding the house calls that were so common under Don Brown but they have given up some big plays, especially on the road. Even Wisconsin hit on some deep passes.

Clifford can be inconsistent but he can be really good at times and I think he’ll have a few moments on Saturday mostly thanks to Dotson.
