After being ranked No.7 in the initial CFP rankings, Michigan football still has a lot to play for. The Wolverines have a difficult November schedule with the Big Ten East gauntlet still remaining.

The first opportunity to bounce back after the loss to MSU comes at home under the lights against Indiana. Here are five things to know about the Hoosiers.

1. Michigan football has dominated Indiana historically

If you have been following Michigan football for some time, then you know that it does not lose to Indiana often. Michigan leads the all-time series 59-10. Last year marked the first time Michigan had lost to Indiana since 1987 and snapped a 24 game winning streak for the Wolverines.

Michigan has not lost consecutive games to Indiana since 1958-1959 when the Hoosiers were in the middle of a 3-1 stretch.

As a 19-point favorite over the Hoosiers this week, you would think that a winning streak for the Hoosiers would be unlikely. However, that is why the games are played on the field.
