These are the three most absurd overreactions from Saturday’s tough loss to bitter rival Michigan State in East Lansing.

Michigan football appeared destined to break the string of losses to top-25 opponents on Saturday but came up short again.

The perfect season is no more and some so-called fans could not be happier because they get to express their know it all opinions all over social media and gloat about being right for weeks now.

1. Jim Harbaugh needs to be banished from Michigan football once and for all

This is the most extreme overreaction from the loss and the most ludicrous one because it is an overreaction to the highest extent.

If a few calls and breaks would have gone their way then Michigan wouldn’t even be in this place to begin with. It’s realistic to argue about the officiating because it was so controversial in this one.

Warde Manuel is, by far, not dumb enough to listen to some clueless couch coaches who think they have the answers because they typed it on their computers at home in their parents’ basement.

Jim Harbaugh has gotten his club to do a 360 from where they were a year ago and that is a truthful matter of fact to come to your senses and realize.

The maize and blue still have a lot to play for in 2021 and upsets can happen on any given Saturday in the fall as we’ve seen in the past months.

Most importantly though, if Harbaugh can somehow win out, then the casual naysayers will have to eat crow and live with the unrealistic results.

Personally, I am well aware of Harbaugh’s record against his rivals, but who in the world could Manuel get that is better than Harbaugh to replace him? Think long and hard about that.
