Aidan Hutchinson gets 10 sacks, is a First-Team All-American

This isn’t exactly a bold prediction but Aidan Hutchinson is going to continue to dominate in the second half of the season just as he did in the first.

Through six games, Hutchinson has 5.5 sacks as well as six tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, and three quarterback hurries.

Hutchinson hasn’t gotten any sacks in the past two games but teams are focusing a lot of effort to block him, which led to David Ojabo having big outings including 2.5 sacks in the win over Wisconsin. He now has 4.5 sacks on the season too.

Ojabo has emerged as another viable threat and that’s going to take some heat off of Hutchinson. Mike Macdonald has also been good about moving Hutchinson around and putting him in a position to succeed.

Down the stretch, you have the feeling Hutchinson, who is being projected as a top-10 pick is going to shine. He came back to Michigan to win a Big Ten championship and as Harbaugh said before the season, they will get there or die trying.

No one is trying harder than Aidan Hutchinson and in my mind, he gets 10 sacks. Plus he will be a consensus First-Team All-American.
