Michigan football is headed in the right direction

There is a lot to decide in the final six weeks of the Michigan football season. The Wolverines have to play at Michigan State, at Penn State, and home against Ohio State.

A loss to the Spartans, who are also undefeated, would undo some of the progress made during this first half of the season, but the floor should be 9-3 as games against Indiana, Northwestern, and Maryland are all very winnable.

Beat Michigan State and regardless of what happens, Michigan football is playing with house money. People were predicting 7-8 wins this year so 9-10 would count as a surprise.

This program needed a reset in the worst way and the good news is that it’s working. This season feels a lot like 2015 when Harbaugh first took over.

That team overachieved. This team might be doing the same, but either way, with a bunch of talented youngsters and the potential for multiple five-star recruits to join the 2022 recruiting class, the future is bright and Michigan fans have Harbaugh to thank for that.
