Can Michigan break the curse of winning in enemy territory?

Next week brings no rest for the weary as they hit the road to Wisconsin for its first trip out of Ann Arbor. It’s no secret how Michigan represents itself away from home these days. The Wolverines were able to win two out of the Big House last year, but things were decisively different from where things stand in the present day.

Michigan is going into Madison undefeated, while Wisconsin has lost twice already, including a heartbreaker to Penn State. Wisconsin came into Michigan stadium a year ago and laid waste to Michigan football in a primetime showcase.

However, both schools are seemingly heading in opposite directions this time around.

For Michigan to avoid a catastrophe they will have to run the ball like they were unable to do so today. Getting back to smash-mouth football is the identity that will carry them to victory and that’s well known by now.
