Michigan football broke its commitment drought last week and is on the verge of adding more recruits to the 2022 class as the crystal balls keep flooding in for the Wolverines.

It’s not a surprise to see Michigan football‘s recruiting start to improve once the product on the field did and after a 3-0 start, the Wolverines are rolling on the trail.

Last week, they flipped Mason Graham, a three-star defensive tackle committed to Boise State and while some Michigan fans might roll their eyes about a three-star recruit, Graham has been dominant in the Trinity League, a top league in California, and looks like a major steal.

Graham was a nice get for the Wolverines, who are trending with other key targets in 2022 such as defensive tackle Kenneth Grant.

Grant is a top-tier target for the Wolverines and the 6-foot-4, 335-pounder has been trending with expert projections the past two weeks to U-M.

On Wednesday, that trend continued as Michigan got a prediction from Bill Kurelic, an Ohio State insider for 247 sports.

That’s key because Ohio State was seen as the top rival for Grant, who has six crystal ball predictions for Michigan with a confidence level of six.

Grant is ranked as a four-star according to 247 sports and is 511th overall in the 247 sports composite rankings and it sounds like he’s ready to announce his commitment soon.

And it should be to Michigan.

Another crystal ball pick for Wolverines

Earlier this week, EJ Holland of Rivals put in a Futurecast prediction for three-star linebacker Deuce Spurlock to wind up in the Wolverines 2022 recruiting class and now Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider has put in a crystal ball for U-M too.

Spurlock announced that he was going to take a visit this weekend for the Rutgers game and it seems like momentum is on the side of the Wolverines.
