Blake Corum’s hard is work is getting noticed.

The sophomore exploded onto the scene with several splash plays throughout. He scored Michigan football’s first touchdown and his vision stood out by finding creases to run through against Western’s defenders. His workmanlike performance earned him 100 yards on the ground and two trips to the endzone.

Altogether the rushing attack had an exceptional showing with over 300 plus yards as a whole. Two of the biggest plays came from receivers A.J. Henning and Roman Wilson.

Henning took it to the house on an end around to blow it wide open. The offensive line provided the necessary gaps to sprint through and the ball carriers didn’t disappoint.

Even Donovan Edwards got in on the party as well. He got a handful of snaps, but didn’t get the chance to shine quite like Corum did.

Corum should be a focal point of the offense moving ahead as he is clearly a unique weapon that must be used in bunches as he makes up for his lack of size at 5’8”.
