No. 9 DE David Ojabo

The former four-star recruit is expected to start as an EDGE for the Wolverines. Even if he’s not a starter in the base defense, it doesn’t matter. He’s going to have an essential role on this team.

Michigan football fans want to talk about how poor the secondary was last season, but the pass rush was equally to blame. It was non-existent and that’s got to change.

Aidan Hutchinson is poised for a huge year. But you need more than one pass rusher and Ojabo has the tools to be a force on the edge and if the defense is going to take a step forward, guys like him have to start making an impact.

No. 8 Ronnie Bell

With 82 receptions and more than 1,300 yards to his credit, Michigan football fans know what they are getting in Ronnie Bell. He’s dynamic in the slot and has even improved on the outside.

While there are other talented wideouts such as Cornelius Johnson and Daylen Baldwin, Bell is still the leader of the group and it feels like he could have a 1,000-yard season.

Every quarterback needs that guy he can trust and Bell can certainly be that guy for McNamara. He’s always been clutch on third downs and he needs to have an All-Big Ten kind of season.
