Harbaugh also spoke about other offensive skill positions besides quarterback and offered some interesting tidbits, including that Donovan Edwards will see action right away.

That’s not a huge shock. Edwards was a five-star recruit according to 247 sports and he’s one of the best running backs to come to Ann Arbor in a long time.

However, Harbaugh also said Hassan Haskins and Blake Corum were essentially sharing the job of No. 1 back.

Hopefully, the running-back-by-committee approach will work better than last year, but that group is talented and if the offensive line can do its part, this running game could be outstanding.

“He (Haskins) and Blake Corum are 1 and 1 (a),” Harbaugh said … but all three backs will get their carries.”

And even though Michigan football fans are really high on the potential of transfer Daylen Baldwin, Harbaugh said that the starting wide receivers right now would be Ronnie Bell, Cornelius Johnson, and Mike Sainristil.

Of course, since Baldwin just committed, he’ll get his chance to show what he can do in camp. Harbaugh said good things about him and I’d still expect him to make a big impact this season. Here’s what Chris Balas of The Wolverine wrote, summarizing what Harbaugh said:

"“Wide receiver Daylen Baldwin has made an impression on his teammates in 7-on-7s, Harbaugh said, but if the season started today, Cornelius Johnson, Ronnie Bell, and Mike Sainristil would be the three starting wide receivers. Sainristil has been an outstanding leader, while Johnson has really elevated his game.”"

The running backs are going to be really good and in my humble opinion, the receivers are underrated.
