3-star ATH Amorion Walker

As we have discussed, the safety position is one that the staff might need to focus on going forward. Much of that depends on Tatum and how many the Wolverines want to take.

Michigan took just one safety in the 2021 recruiting class but could probably get away with just one in 2022, but it feels like there could be around five defensive backs total. Pushing for someone like Stewart is possible and an offer has been extended.

Yet, he’s not the only committed defensive back offered by Michigan football lately. The Wolverines offered three-star Amorion Walker, who pledged to Notre Dame, last month.

Walker’s recruitment is starting to blow up. LSU and Alabama offered around the same time and he took a visit to the Tigers, which at least means he’s open to listening to other schools.

Out of Louisiana, the Wolverines have a tie-in thanks to Ron Bellamy and the key right now is getting him on campus for a visit. That’s the first priority but if it happens, like everyone else on the list, then a flip is possible.
