5-star OT Josh Conerly Jr.

Another five-star prospect that Michigan football has been gaining momentum with is Washington offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr.

The 6-foot-5 recruit who ranks as the No. 20 prospect in the 2022 composite rankings has received a pair of crystal ball predictions to Washington, the in-state school and the Huskies could be tough to beat.

However, Conerly Jr. is expected to visit Ann Arbor and there is talk he could even visit when the Huskies come to town in September. That gives time for Michigan to turn this around.

4-star TE Oscar Delp

Michigan football was considered an early favorite for four-star tight end Oscar Delp (99th overall in composite) and even received a crystal ball from Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider.

Since then, Delp has risen dramatically in the rankings and the kid from West Forsyth, Georgia has grabbed the attention of Georgia, which is now the odds-on favorite to land him with five of his six crystal ball picks.

Delp raved about his visit to Ann Arbor and the Big House. Michigan was also one of his first major offers which holds some weight. And even though he’s ranked 99th overall, in my eyes, he’s a five-star caliber player and despite two tight ends already being committed in 2022, there is definitely room for a talent such as Delp.
