4-star ATH Dillon Tatum

Michigan football flirted with five-star safety Keon Sabb, however, Clemson won his commitment, and unless the Wolverines turn things around with Ja’Kobi Albert who is starting to trend to Auburn, Dillon Tatum is by far the top target at the safety position.

Not only is Tatum a top-300 recruit, but he’s also ranked as the fifth-best recruit in the state of Michigan and all of his crystal ball projections are pointing in the Wolverines direction. Yet, Michigan State has been gaining and this one is truly up in the air between MSU and Michigan.

And you can’t put together an ideal recruiting class for Michigan in 2022 without Tatum.

4-star DT Deone Walker

Just like Tatum, Deone Walker is one of the best recruits in the state of Michigan in 2022 and he’s ranked 10th in the state according to the 247 sports composite rankings.

At 6-foot-6, 340 pounds, Michigan football has been rewarded for offering Walker early on in the process and he’s been getting better and better. He was a three-star recruit when U-M first got involved and now, the Wolverines are attempting to hold off a slew of SEC schools, as well as Arizona State for his commitment.

The Wolverines are the favorite and control his crystal ball projections so hopefully, that leads to a commitment because he’s a top priority.
