Daylen Baldwin

One of the most exciting additions for Michigan football heading into the 2021 season is former Jackson State wide receiver Daylen Baldwin.

The former Farmington, Michigan prospect didn’t get much attention out of high school but had a breakout season in the spring for Deion Sanders and when he entered the transfer portal, even Ohio State offered him a scholarship.

Instead, he chose Michigan and one reason is that he will likely have a much bigger role in Ann Arbor, than at Ohio State, which already has a pair of first-round caliber wideouts.

Ronnie Bell is the go-to guy still but he does his best work in the slot. Cornelius Johnson is promising and is a breakout candidate for the Wolverines, but the starting spot opposite him is wide open, which is where I think Baldwin ends up.

He’s got the ability to stretch the field and while I do see Christian Dixon and Andrel Anthony getting on the field, Baldwin will be one of Michigan’s most productive wideouts.
