Hillmon is the star of Michigan’s women’s basketball team and its most decorated player. Hillmon averaged 23.9 PPG and 11.4 RPG last season and became the first Michigan women’s basketball player to be named an All-American. She led the Lady Wolverines to its first Sweet 16 appearance in program history. Hillmon has also won three gold medals as a member of USA basketball.
Hillmon is not only productive on the court but she has a considerable social following as well. On Twitter, Hillmon has 2.5K followers and she has another 9.4K followers on Instagram. The combination of production on the court and social media presence will Hillmon very attractive to companies. Hillmon has already announced one partnership with Cameo.com.
Adrien Nunez
Nunez may not be the first Michigan athlete that comes to mind when thinking of those who will profit off their name, image, and likeness. Nunez has not been a significant contributor to Michigan’s basketball team thus far in his career. However, there may not be a Michigan athlete more suited to benefit from the passing of the NIL legislation.
Nunez has developed a huge social media presence. He has 111K followers on Instagram and 3.3K followers on Twitter. Tik Tok is the platform where he really stands out with 1.6 million followers. and his videos have received over 88 million likes from users.
Nunez is already a step ahead of the game in developing his brand. On Instagram, Nunez announced that he released a merchandise store that will be featuring his likeness for a short period of time.
