3-star TE

While Michigan football hasn’t started trending with crystal ball predictions with Pollard, the same can’t be said for Idaho tight end Colston Loveland, who has been trending with expert picks to the Wolverines recently.

Loveland is out of Gooding, Idaho, and is 6-foot-5, 230 pounds. His recruitment has started to take off recently with Alabama, Auburn, and LSU among the schools getting in the mix with offers.

However, Michigan football made a really strong impression on a recent visit, and the Wolverines appear to be the leader by all accounts for a kid that’s probably going to wind up as a four-star recruit in the 247composite when it’s all said and done.

Michigan football has done a really good job at tight end in the previous cycles and Loveland definitely has a similar feel to Louis Hansen from 2021. Holland also indicated on his most recent Youtube video that the Idaho tight end should be deciding soon, which favors U-M.

Between Rivals and 247, there are eight projections for Loveland to wind up at Michigan, including some national experts, so this one seems like another lock, especially if he decides in July.
