Michigan Basketball: 3 Predictions for Wolverines against Florida State
Chaundee has another big night
In order to beat LSU, Michigan needed Chaundee Brown to step up and he did with 21 points off the bench.
Against Florida State, the Wolverines will need another productive outing from Brown, who was really struggling on the offensive end prior to the LSU game.
When he’s making shots, this team doesn’t miss Isaiah Livers as much. He can slot into that 2/3 role and make no mistake, he needs to play about 30 minutes.
Another thing that’s interesting about Brown, is that he’s a former ACC player. That means he’s familiar with Florida State. He won’t be intimidated or surprised by their length.
In fact, in three career games, he averaged 15 points against the Noles at Wake Forest. He also shot 47 percent overall and 53 percent from beyond the arc.
That familiarity, combined with the confidence of just scoring 21 points, leads me to believe that Brown is going to have another good night. But will it be enough to move on?
