Dickinson dominating

During the first two rounds, Hunter Dickinson was solid. He scored 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. He also turned the ball over nine times and picked up nine personal fouls.

If Michigan basketball is going to keep its postseason run going, Dickinson needs to increase the first two numbers and decrease the last two.

Scoring 14 points a game is probably about right and he’s 10 of 14 from the field, as well as 9-for-10 from the free-throw line. That means Dickinson is doing a great job of scoring the ball. He also dished out three assists, all against LSU, and blocked a total of four shots.

His defense has gotten better and better over the course of the season and that was on full display against the Tigers in what was one of his better efforts.

But in the Sweet 16 and Elite 8, those extra fouls and turnovers could cost the Wolverines. The margin for error is incredibly thin at this point. Each possession is critical and every mistake could be the one that ends your season.

If Dickinson can avoid some of those mistakes, and the other things on this list happen, you can be confident Michigan will cut down the nets next Tuesday and punch their ticket to the Final Four.
