Who wins?

The Wolverines come into this matchup as 25.5-point favorites and that’s for a reason. Even without Livers, this team is very talented and capable of making the Final Four.

At this time of year, it’s time for the stars and the veterans to carry you through. The one issue is that Mike Smith, Chaundee Brown, Dickinson and Wagner are all playing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time.

Eli Brooks is the guy with the most experience, as well as Davis and Johns, but still, that’s something to watch, especially in this first-round game.

Yet, Smith has been more than up to the challenge all year. He missed the game-winner against Ohio State and didn’t shoot the ball well — Saturday he’ll make up for that.

This game could be close for a while, but Michigan basketball will win and it will clear the spread.
