Chaundee Brown

The other player on the roster most capable of filling the role that Livers did for Michigan basketball is Chaundee Brown.

Brown is a stellar defender and 3-point shooter but only played around 20 minutes a game off the bench for the Wolverines. He struggled to shoot the ball against Ohio State, but it will be imperative for him to knock down shots in the NCAA Tournament.

Brown shot 39 percent from 3-point range on 3.4 attempts per game during the regular season, yet he will need to boost his volume, as will Johns and maybe Eli Brooks.

Even if Johns starts for Michigan, Brown should play more minutes and at some point, it would be great to see Juwan use a lineup of Mike Smith, Brooks, Brown, Wagner and Hunter Dickinson.

Those are the Wolverines five best players right now without Livers and they could easily fit into those roles 1-5. I’d love to see that and regardless of when he’s on the floor, Brown needs to knock down shots for the Wolverines.
