Dickinson double-doubles again

Michigan basketball’s freshman center hasn’t been quite as effective recently as he was during the first stretch of Big Ten games but his double-double against Michigan State should give him a boost of confidence.

He did have issues with turnovers and actually had six, but only missed two shots as he scored 14 and pulled down 10 rebounds.

The Wolverines sometimes feed the post a little too much, especially when Austin Davis is in the game, but U-M needs to get Dickinson lots of touches Sunday because the Spartans don’t have anyone who can match up with him.

Dickinson bullied his way into some baskets in the first meeting against Michigan State, yet the Spartans did a good job of mucking things up and not allowing Hunter to do much damage as a passer.

On Sunday, I see Dickinson having another strong game against Michigan State and unless he gets into foul trouble, another double-double seems likely.
