Bigs

Hunter Dickinson: A-

I predicted that Hunter Dickinson would break into the 20s and while that didn’t happen, he still had a solid game with 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one block. He was 6-for-11 from the field and his defense was a big key again. It feels like he could have been more productive but that’s because we have been spoiled by how good he’s been. He made over 50 percent of his shots on the road and reached double figures. Dickinson may not dominate as he did early in the year, but he’s been really consistent and really effective.

Austin Davis: C-

Davis played 11 minutes on Saturday and missed both of his field-goal attempts. He’s normally good for a make or two inside and that hurt Michigan’s bench production. His defense in the post is always sound and he grabbed three boards but it wasn’t his best day.

Brandon Johns: D

Johns didn’t make much of an impact during his time on the floor. He picked up two fouls, missed two shots and grabbed two rebounds. He can make a positive impact off the bench at times but has been wildly inconsistent this year and it still seems as though the Wolverines could do without giving him minutes down the stretch unless absolutely necessary. Why play Johns when you could play more of Brown?
