It might seem like the Michigan basketball just got done with Iowa, but the Wolverines have a quick turnaround and it’s something they will need to get used to.

Next week, the Wolverines play three games — two against Michigan State following a Tuesday game against Illinois, the second-place team in the Big Ten.

With the way Michigan State has been playing, it might be nice for U-M to lock up the league title prior to that, which it can do by beating Illinois on Tuesday regardless of what happens Saturday.

Indiana has been inconsistent and struggled lately. But the Hoosiers are fighting for their NCAA lives and this is the first stretch of two games in three days for U-M.

The Hoosiers beat Iowa at home recently and also took Illinois to overtime at Assembly Hall so we’ll see if Indiana can take advantage of this being a trap game. Here are three predictions.

Hunter Dickinson has a big day

Hunter Dickinson has been playing really well of late, after going through a minor scoring slump, Dickinson is averaging 18 points and 8.5 rebounds in his last two games and that sort of production will continue on Saturday.

The Hoosiers don’t have anyone on their roster who plays that’s bigger than 6-foot-9 and in Big Ten play, they are 11th in opposing field-goal percentage and 8th when it comes to 2-pointers.

Indiana really struggles to defend the 3-point shot and Dickinson’s play inside should help the Wolverines get plenty of good looks. Trayce Jackson-Davis is a solid player but he’s going to have his hands full guarding the 7-foot-1 center.

And I just have a feeling that Dickinson will get enough touches inside to break the 20-point barrier for the fourth time this season.
