Wings

Chaundee Brown: A

It’s safe to say that Michigan basketball doesn’t win this game without the contributions of Brown, who was 6-for-8 from the field and connected on three treys in the first half. He also grabbed two monster offensive boards in the second half and gave U-M a spark defensively. He scored 15 points in 23 minutes and will forever endeavor himself to Michigan fans with his effort and the way he delivered in this game.

Isaiah Livers: B+

Livers really made some key plays in this game. His four assists were as key as his 12 points, although his steal and bucket late in the second half probably changed the outcome of the game. However, he also missed two free throws in the second and was 4 of 9 from the field. Still, he continues to take steps as a creator and the trio of him, Wagner and Dickinson is something offensively.

Franz Wagner: B-

Wagner got off to a rough start with some quick turnovers in the first half and he just never got going offensively. Ohio State did a great job of neutralizing his drive to the basket and he didn’t attempt a shot until 17 minutes into the game. When it was over, he shot just four times but scored nine points thanks to six trips to the line, where he made five. The sophomore also pitched in with four assists and six rebounds. It’s wild Michigan played for so long without him down the stretch but that shows just how deep this team is.
