Who wins?

Over the years, the Kohl Center hasn’t exactly been a kind place for Michigan basketball. We can all remember the losses over the years and having this as the first game back after not playing in three weeks is a huge challenge.

The Badgers, as I’ve said are a very good defensive team and they are also going to be very motivated to have a different result than when they went to Ann Arbor.

To me, the key for Wisconsin will be D’Mitrik Trice. He struggled in the first game, at least until it was out of reach. The Wolverines used Eli Brooks and even Chaundee Brown on him last time and that shows how important he is to what the Badgers do offensively.

He’s going to have to get things going against the Wolverines especially from deep if the Badgers are going to pull the upset. Rebounding used to be a big advantage for the Badgers, at least in general against Michigan, but this U-M squad is the Big Ten’s best defensive rebounding team.

I’ve wavered back and forth, but Michigan basketball’s defense, plus its ability to score inside will make the difference in a close one.
