Michigan Basketball: Wolverines lead the way in Big Ten uniform rankings

Maryland’s uniforms are known for incorporating their state flag and for the most part it works. They are one of the few schools whose colors are the same as the flag and they make sure they show it off. The football uniforms really go all out with it and it can make it look a bit much, but the basketball uniforms do a pretty good job of it.

The problem with this uniform is the collar. It used to be the flag and it didn’t look right. Now they have part of a stripe but doesn’t go all the way around. I have never understood the partial lines going around. Complete it and this uniform would be great.

The same with the stripe around the armhole. Have the stripe go all the way around or don’t have it at all. These may seem like minor things, but it makes the uniform pop so much more.

The rest of the uniform is nice and clean. The font on the lettering and numbers is good and the little accent color on the sleeve is nice. Also having the M on both sides of the pants is good and simple. They do not mess with any striping up the side of the uniform and that is good for this uniform. They look good in all their colors, whether it be red, yellow, black or white. Because they are all colors of the flag they all work. Overall not a bad uniform but could be a little better.
