Isaiah Livers: A+

20 points on eight shots in 29 minutes. Isaiah Livers was phenomenal in the blowout win against Maryland. It was the dominant and efficient game that Livers needed to get back on track and get himself going for the remainder of conference play.

Livers knocked down four three pointers and made all six of his free throws to continue his ridiculous shooting numbers this season. Livers is now shooting 49% from the field 43.5% from 3, and 97% from the free throw line. Against Maryland, he continued to show his improved defense and passing and was the best player on the floor on Tuesday night.

Franz Wagner: A

I’m running out of ways to praise Franz Wagner. His defense was really good again against Maryland and he continues to be, in my opinion, the best two way player in the Big Ten. Wagner scored 15 points on 5-9 shooting and grabbed six rebounds for the Wolverines.

You can tell that Michigan basketball feeds off the energy that Franz brings on both ends of the floor. One area that Wagner continues to improve on is his playmaking for others. Wagner dished out three assists and made some really good passes as he drove the lane. His ability to get his teammates involved as he drives the lane will be key going forward.

Chaundee Brown: B

The defensive intensity that Chaundee Brown brings in unmatched. That was the case yet again against Maryland. Chaundee knows his role and embraces it as good as anybody. He is a true three and D player and is the perfect sixth man for Michigan basketball,

Brown knocked down two more threes tonight and scored six points in 23 minutes. He’s now shooting 39% from three this season which has surprised a lot of people.
